  • im atheist, but if you look at the history or christianity....it stared in africa/middle east area. most of the people in the bible (ex. israelites) were black....jus sayin

  • @ChicGenique hmmm....brings me to a point that i have been meaning to address israelites are more of middle eastern descent not africa but you know what thats a whole different can of worms, i was at this cultural festival and this dude was like did you know that the bag pipes and kilt came from africa and I just stared at the dude like really...do black people have to take credit for EVERYTHING lol ok...just venting i hear your point tho.

  • what song is that in the beginning (probably obvious)?

  • @NTonks1 big kritt

  • Black people believe in God because it's part of historic culture. It wasn't chained to your neck by any white man, there was traditional African religion before your ancestors were enslaved. I'd argue that Africa, being the cradle of civilization, is also the cradle of concept...good & bad. You can't blame things like religion or slavery on the white man; you have to place blame on man in general. All ideas, beliefs and concepts are an instrument to help conceal our own wretchedness.

  • @dusted2death not really trying to place blame just pointing out the flaw in logic of loving a god that was forced upon you, I refuse to believe in ANY gods let alone one that was introduced to me to manipulate and control me.

  • @ShortyOh5 hmm yes its 2011 and that does not change the fact that black people embrace a god that people used to justify their enslavement, i honestly don't think anyone really thinks about it that way, i personally feel black people do it out of tradition and they take lemons and try to make lemonade with it tho i think that that is admirable it does not take away from the fact that they are being manipulated with the very thing that they love/fear the most, BUT thats just my opinion.

  • Religion is a personal choice and should not be controlled by anyone - including you.

Why do people believe in motor vehicles as a form of transportation and as a declaration of ones' wealth when they've killed their friends and families? Why do people use the internet and speak so freely like you do when many children have been targeted by disgusting people through it? Because it's a personal choice, a choice based not on the past but on what it means to them right now.

  • @sundiatasoulbefree Facts with Empirical Evidence & Universal Truths can be passed on by "ANYBODY"...Regardless of what they've Also done and/or said. Truths aren't just Exclusive to people that are so-called Good(Whatever & However you define that). Once again, this is coming from an Agnostic. An Agnostic who thinks Christianity(& Religion in General) is "NOT" rooted in Truth/Facts. I Analyze the Theory, regardless of who came up with the Theory, or whose passing on that Theory.

  • @sundiatasoulbefree I don't see the flaw in the logic of thinking something is true merely because a Theory was forced upon you and/or your ancestors. There would only be a Flaw in that logic if the Theory "Itself" was Flawed(NOT valid/true). In otherwords, people that have commited malevolent acts can also know the truth about something; just as people that have commited benevolent acts can not know the truth about something. Manipulation can be Used through Facts or Lies. Btw, I'm an Agnostic.

  • You should be getting more thumbs up for this video.

Very good video, strong points. I just don't know why descendants of Africans believe this horse shit, Especially from people that took their descendants as slaves, just so their lazy ass wouldn't have to work.

  • @sundiatasoulbefree I'm black and I have a teacher like that, she's said to the class that black babies have a higher IQ than white babies or other babies, she also said that the people in the bible were black to me it kind of gets annoying.

  • In the end it would be better if the idea of god didn't exist, that way people wouldn't use it as an excuse for war, wouldn't use it to control people.

Many have suffered because of the idea of god, and i don't mean just Christianity's god, i mean all of them.

  • Church is like most other events simply to distract and help to conserve resources.Everyone gathers in one building or one spot sharing the same resources.

  • virtues.oh, Israelites are Jewish. not christian...but as far as religion goes it has been used to opress people of different skin colors for the past 500 years starting with the Spanish, and then before that it was used to opress anyone who didn't believe in it.

  • @ChicGenique but the Christianity you study today isn't the same as back then. just because something originated from somewhere doesn't mean that they have to take credit for what it has turned into. Look at the recent events instead of ones that happened 2000 years ago...why should we care what happened 2000 years ago if it isn't still around? *also, Judaism came from the land of Canaan, not Christianity. just because they use pieces of the same holy book doesn't mean they believe in the same

  • Jeses is not real , ALL world religions are man made . . . learn to think fro yourself . . . . . the end . good vid fam!
