The Grassroot Project

The Grassroot Project serves to educate at-risk youth in Washington DC about HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention by utilizing Division I "student-athlete" role models. Their programs use peer education to prevent HIV/AIDS in the District by recognizing the enormous potential of student athletes to serve as role models to local youth and by utilizing an interactive, engaging curriculum that targets middle school aged students.

Bittersweet hopes this short promo inspires other student-athletes to get involved and use their skills and talents to engage in the critical social issues of our day.
