The cattle prod might have been an viable solution. If Hitler is indeed in a time loop (say caused by a wormhole), he would be surrounded by a field of electromagnetic energy . If the cattle prod was brough up to proper voltage and placed within the field, it could create an electrical disturbance large enough to break through the field and disrupt or short out the time loop. Thus, saving Hitler from his perpetual time loop.
