This is one of the best Rigolettos. Sound, phrasing, intonations - many of modern Rigolettos are still to live up to that. And in this piece one can actually hear why is tune is so breathtakingly touching. It is in the rhythm of a beating heart, broken heart. There is no better perfomance - at least here on youtube.
