@uzaiyaro I've never even heard of Radon before, and I'm not even sure what this is all about, perhaps as you say this isn't a big problem here in Australia.

If i were you man, with all that nice stuff in your basement + the server, i would invest in a backup sump pump as well

@youtubasoarus My Dad always used to tell me to move out of the basement because of Radon, and I never knew what he was talking about until about a year ago.
I was told that my level wasn't all that bad compared to some other places that needed the fans, but I'd still rather have it as close to zero as I can.

I kind of figured your house was in a more rural setting. It looks like you're off to a strong start with the whole radon thing...I take it that the unit goes into that hole in the floor and sucks the radon away?
Is that really a 10-ton air conditioner?

@uxwbill I'm actually in a small city, still has a bit of a small town atmosphere though. The radon fan pulls air through the footing drains that are connected to the sump pit, since they are already below the slab anyhow. This removes the radon before it can come into the basement.
From what I remember being told, the air conditioner has a 10 ton cooling capacity. Some day I'll have to look at it myself and see.
