This is Dr. David Francis Oliver in concert at the Emerson Concert Hall on the Campus of Emory University. Dr. Oliver is the College Organist at Morehouse College and one of the best organist in the world.
The organ is Daniel Jaeckels Op. 45, a three-manual, 54-stop mechanical-key-action. It's new (installed in 2005) but is old school in design, with a Bach bias. It's Janus-faced and uses Andreas Silbermanns organ building orientation for two of its keyboard divisions.
It's a heck of a great instrument. The concert hall is quite good, too. It's the recording quality which is deficient.

Why do some people think David Oliver is not that good? He is obviously AMAZING!
