  • do you need to bw staying at the hotel to use the flowrider or can you just pay to come in and use it?

  • Yes you do need to be staying at the Hotel or have local membership of the Aquadome. Worth every penny though!

  • still looking forward to our trip to the merton on satuday but disappointed to see from this video that the flowrider is not as wide as those on royal carribean {we were told by the merton that it was the same size} also we were shocked to find out we have to pay to ride, that sessions at the moment are limited {probably max of 3 per day} due to building work and that depending on demand we may only get 1 session per day.

  • Thanks for comments. To address your concerns - whilst it is slightly smaller than the ones on Royal Caribbean, you need to bear in mind that the Merton Hotel only has 650 guests, whilst the ships have 3500, so should be plenty of opportunities to test your skills! The sessions currently cost £3.00 per adult/£2.00 per child for an hour and by this weekend, there should be more sessions available each day. Enjoy!

  • does anyone know if it goes steeper, like the ones in the usa on the other vids?

  • No - it is a static slope. But the flow ensures a good ride!

  • Lmao,

    I never went on it,wish I did.

    Hotel was class.

    Would go back.

  • It can be pretty good, nice clean waves. Depends what you call small? If a big swell comes in then anything is possible, but regular 4-8foot through the month! Water is pretty warm too! No need for wetsuit for at least up to an hour!

  • does anyone know what the surfs like in jersey in september.thinking about going but dont want the waves to be too small.

  • had a fantastic time at the weekend. a very big thank you to mark, ava, nicola, laura, neil and the rest of the crew at the aquadome. can't wait to come back in july.
