It seems that after his long musical career has dried up somewhat, Stevie Wonder is now making a living driving taxis in the Manchester area.

I saw him (but it seems he didn't see me) in Urmston on a wet and blowy day.

Didn't get chance to give him a cheery wave though as I was too busy trying to avoid his car.

  • You are completely in the wrong here. You start swearing at the car before you have even reached the roundabout & his entire vehicle is on it & starting to turn.

The broken white lines in front require you to stop if the road ahead is not clear? Well it's not so you should have stopped. Annoying as it may be it's a roundabout not a 'T' junction. You admit the conditions were not ideal so you should have adjusted your speed accordingly approaching a junction.

  • @greebo954 He wouldn't have done the same if I was in a car, so why think it's okay when I'm on a bike? I have priority from the right and he should take account of the speed I am approaching before entering the roundabout. As I have previously said, yes, I *could* have slowed a bit... but shouldn't have to really.

  • @sh4rkybloke You were approaching the round-about therefore you have to stop, there are broken white lines. You were wrong in this case since you have to stop before entering the roundabout.

  • @Christoff87 Errm, no... the broken white lines mean "give way" not "stop". Solid white line at a junction means stop. Priority is to traffic from the right.... in his case this means me on my bike.

  • He was already on the roundabout, you were going too fast. Simples.

  • @MitkoChan If a driver enters a roundabout and forces people approaching from the right to have to brake and/or take any avoiding action then they shouldn't have entered the roundabout as priority is for the person from the right. Doesn't matter that he was "already on the roundabout"... the law is pretty clear. I could have slowed a little, but shouldn't have to as priority is mine here.

  • @Cliffjumper24 he does arrive first stops and at this point he should let traffic wit priority through , instead he bardges onto the roundabout , total loonatic this one.
