@JFredUK Yup. Tons of mens lives are being destroyed at in increasing rate on false accusations on domestic violence to rape to whatever else. Absolutely no consequences happen to the woman if she falsely accuses a man and they get put on a pedestal. But, I think I'm just preaching to the choir here, you probably already know all this. @darkbyke Society has become very secular in nature. People don't know their neighbours and view anyone who isn't part of their immediate family circle with the utmost suspicion.  The media response to high profile child abuse cases and successive government knee-jerk legislation, (particularly that which applies an over-zealous emphasis on, 'child safety'), are largely to blame. Adults no longer talk to kids for fear of being accused of something heinous, despite there being no foundation.

@106460 Yup. Society has well and truly become paranoid about this type of subject. Any man who were innocently to ask any child a seemingly innocent question is immediately suspected of having an ulterior motive. So, what happens? People of different generations don't communicate in public and view anyone who even remotely deviates from the accepted norm with suspicion or even contempt. They're judged and condemned without foundation because of the paranoia created mostly be the media.
