Yet another review of Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace

I, in my most articulate fashion describe the biggest problems with the first of the four Star Wars prequels, which in my opinion sucked assballs.

I quite like the prequels....

@venospid I am sorry, but I feel I got to say all this. You don't have to watch this but I urge you anyway to think about what I am saying here and compare it to what you see in the films to see if I am right.

@venospid The prequels in all fairness aren't as bad as Catwoman or Batman and Robin...but in some scenes they get awfully close.

@Nagneto or they could of kept darth maul for the finial battle and maiming of ankin instead of obi one kenobi in episode 3 .

Count Duku could of been the one to muurder Qui gon jin in phantom mennace.

thus saving maul (the best) for last .

Palpatine's plan should have been something akin to the plot of KOTOR. Piss off a powerful alien race to come and invade and destroy the Republic, sparking the need for a Clone Army. Jedi being guardians of peace refuse to participate in the war, except for Anakin and a handful of other knights. The horrors of war twist Anakin's mind to believe an absolute autocracy is the only means of keeping order. Palp, preys on this, Ani gets a chick laid and the Jedi exile him, thus Vader is born.

R2 and C3PO actually had a dramatic purpose in the OT. R2's was to carry the plans for the Death Star, repair the Millenium Falcon, repairing Luke's X-wing, and C3PO actually managed to serve a purpose at repairing, improvising and being an actual friend and interpreter to our characters in the OT. But in the PT, Comic relief is NOT enough reason for them to be there.
