Polesdon Lacey is a manor house with opulent Edwardian interiors with a large park.
Located just over 30km from the centre of London, yet one would think one was in the middle of the countryside somewhere.
This was the home of society queen Mrs Greville around 100 years ago. It was even the place chosen by King George VI and the Queen Mother for their honeymoon.
The property is today administered by the National Trust
I have a wide range of interests and I think that this is reflected in the films which can be seen here.

Polesdon lacey used to be a wonderful place
until the National Trust opened up all the surrounding countryside to the public...now its
lost its charm.....Love the James Bond music..
Goes with the sinister goings on of the National
Trust................

That sounds rather ominous. What sinister goings on? When resident in the UK I was a member.

It's Polesden Lacey rather than Polesdon Lacey
It is located in my home Village of Bookham in the Surrey Hills and was used by the late Queen Mother for her honeymoon.
What is that weird music?

I have changed the spelling so thanks for pointing that out.
The weird music was written by John Barry, possibly one of the best known British writers of film music.
