WOW! MONSTARIOUS! yes I know I made up a word just meaning these guys are monsters.

Who got them....Jan Hammer, Todd Rundgren, Rick Wakeman and lastly Roger Powell himself kept both the prototype and a production piece for himself.... only to have them both... along with Todd's Probe destroyed in a fire which consumed the New York warehouse where they... along with many TR and Utopia items were stored. Last time I spoke to Roger about the Probes, he stated that only two survived and he was very disturbed that he no longer had one.

Jan is the only dude I ever heard play "guitar" licks on a synth like a guitar player would play them. Guy's a bitch man!

The "Keytar" is actually a "Powell Precision Probe" and was designed and created by Roger Powell the keyboardist for Todd Rundgrens band "Utopia". It was a very limited production piece with a total of 4 ever being produced, excluding the prototype for a total of 5!!!
