Loved him in Spinal tap! GOOD JOB, HARRY! (PS: he sounds alot like Principal Skinner (who he voices))

I just finished reading "Not Enough Indians" and highly recommend it. As someone who lives in a small, upstate NY town that relies on tourism for its livelihood, I can honestly say that Harry nailed it.

I agree he has a good head on his shoulders...but I don't think musicianship should be included in his list of mastered talents. Spinal Tap required a lot of production to make some extremely ordinary muscianship from those blokes to make it sound even half decent. I did enjoy Spinal Tap but it was a hobbiest's effort at best, musically. He has a good sense of timing and understands comedy ..and that is why he mainly has to stick to comedy bits. Talented? yes - Diva? - No.

Another, not entirely unlike like Hiaasen and fellow-National Lampoon and Spinal Tap alumn Christopher Guest, in a long line of underappreciated, not-so-well-known brilliant minds. Best wishes, Harry.

David Byrne, narcissist and quasi-musician, gets labeled a renaissance man and yet Shearer, far more talented and varied with gifts, because he's too political (?) gets typecast simply as a cartoon voicemaker.
