hey man two words. AWESOME PLAYING. One question wat is better for rock and roll/ metal/sustain- les paul standard 08 or classic. Ur reply wud be greatly appreciated thnx mate. cheers

i don't think there is much difference between the 2 but if my memmory serves me right the standard has classic 57's which give a much warmer tone than the 496 and 500 t in the classic which are realy hot but having said that probebly for rock and roll and blues you should go for a les paul with p 90's so there are 3 choices each one very good in its own class so pck one for your fave sound and it only takes a good peddle to alter it to a different sound hope this helps.
