thanks for the input, and I must say that since then I bought both! The OCD and The sparkle drive. And I love them both! Now looking to complete the tonal palette with either a T-Rex Moller, or T-Rex Gristle king.... what can I say I'm an Overdrive nuts... ;-)

hey if you want that mid-range tubescreamer sound go with the sparkle drive- it's an 808 copy with a blendable clean boost circuit
the OCD is great with both single coils and humbuckers- alot heavier sound to in HP with the drive dimed
both have amazing tonal possibilities i have both :)

I really like how you make it wail! Are you using an OD? If so which one? I'm hesitating between a Voodoo Labs Sparkle Drive and a Fulltone OCD.... If only I was rich!
