@horses1238 I know, he's a ham ;) You don't HAVE to do a bridle path if you're not showing, but it helps make it easier to bridle them. If you're showing, you should do it.

i thought i've heard of trimming a horses hoofs i also ride (show jumping) and i was wondering what that is and how you do that? thanks!=) Real helpful video's too!=)

@SchleichLover182011 Trimming hooves is something a farrier does. All horses, not just show jumpers, need their hooves trimmed. They grow just like our fingernails do, and get too long if they don't get trimmed down. Someone who's trained to trim hooves should do this, though, because you need to understand about hoof anatomy and angles and such to do it right.
