They took Whedon's concept and turned it into a romantic comedy, lame. Series was far superior. It was campy, funny, dramatic, and downright dark.

Kirsty swanson is still beatiful now, and yes... the movie was great, far better than the series which was darker and dull. the actors in this were great... kirsty, luke, david, rutger and hillary swank.
