  • unspeakable, the precision, nuances of tone, emotions it brings out. that was the most breathtaking performance of that piece i have heard. ...the tears roll down.

Her arms and hands are like the most delicate swan. her artistry is even represented in her grace and movement.

  • her smile is so cute :D

  • shes so busy performing around the world.

of course she plays the same song as she played somewhere else.

I saw some somebody said, seeing the program

"hah! Ive heard her play all of these. boring"

    what made him say that?

    youtube. and other streaming sites.

i love her performance, but you can "dislike" this clip in other ways.

(I "liked" it by the way)

  • Wow 15 people dislike it!!?? I guess they can't even play like this now let alone play better when they were at her age...Shame on them!

  • By far one of Aimi's most magical performances...

  • この激しさ!どこから来るんだろう。

  • She is an angel !!

  • @FailedViolinist Mrs. Yuko Ninomiya started teaching Aimi when she was 8 y/o,

Aimi was a very timid little girl, so her parents enrolled her in a ballet school before she was 3 y/o, this is how young Aimi (pronounce "eyemii") fell in love with the piano accompanying the class, she was more interested in the piano in the classroom !!...., I do not know about her prior teacher , you're right they probably deserve some credit too,

  • @pianomandann - Aimi Kobayashi is a genius pianist, very well known, she must be about 16 now and has a brilliant international career. Just listen to her playing Chopin and Schubert. Unbelievable musicality, not only technique. (And with such small fingers!)

  • OMFG PERFECT TALENT

  • wow. just wow. who is this chick??

  • @bjoartec

Isn't this before, or shortly after she started studying with Ninomiya? So shouldn't the credit, aside from her incredible innate talent, go to whoever was the first teachert the local music parlor who recognized her extraordinary talent?
