From the album "The Donny Osmond album" released in January 1971. Even though it did not hit the charts, I still like it. This is the also the theme song from the movie "Kelly's heroes" done by a different artist. Mike Curb arranged it for Donny according to the information on the album.

  • Marie had the deeper voice

    Just like Sonny & Cher

  • I agree with you Chipnall. Before Donny's voice changed, it was much higher than Marie. Also, Donny has a more dynamic range than Marie.

  • I'm glad you posted this. The irony is that Mike Curb's "Congregation" version is probably the most well known version because of Kelly's Heroes.

  • Mike Curb arranged this song for Donny's album. If only he arranged a separate version for Donny to be used in "Kelly's Heroes", it would be so nice!

  • wot a song looking back i think wot did i do but that is life love this song ,and we all have regrets cos we only hav one life.

  • This is a great song, glad you like it, thanks.

  • Hi Cheryl, glad you like the song too. Mike Curb arranged it for Donny as well as for his group called "Mike Curb Congregation" for the movie "Kelly's Heroes".

    Thanks.

  • When I first saw the movie Kelly's Heroes I KNEW i'd heard that song before. One of those nagging things in the back of my mind finally settled. thanks. Now I know why. Donny does a great job, but I think for the movie, the song was better with a group singing it-- it was like the men in the movie were singing.

  • Hi Adaveen, the first album is always special. Glad you like it. Thanks.

  • This was the first album anyone ever gave me that wasn't a Disney soundtrack - I played this song over and over. I still love it.
