Breaking the U.S. Breath Hold Record

Bill Graham of Kailua-Kona will attempt to officially break the U.S. record for breath holding (a free-diving event called "static apnea") on November 10. Graham held the record himself until last year. The current record is 7 minutes, 28 seconds, and in this practice session, Graham goes 7:51, easily (but unofficially) surpassing the record.

is that defienetly no cheating?...my highest i got was 189sec. but last time i got 600sec coz i was cheating i was breeding in my mouth my friend cant see it coz is look like whole my head is down but he didnt no is up on the bottom a little bit so my mouth is not on water but my nose is in the water

why his wearing his hood i wish is showing his mouth nd nose that is in the water but it just show the head is down nd full black coz of the hood or he should just go more deeper to the bottom

Not only is this amazing, but he's got a guy touching his back, children screaming and the guy yelling at him how long he's gone for. Just amazing

yeah i thought it was longer than that, i was just tellin the guy this isnt fake, i have seen the 19 minute breath hold thing too
