@remmbomen No he didn't. There are some things that simply can't damage you in the game.

In the early revisions, all neckies (non flying) and mini neckies are unable to kill you, though their nuts can. While Queen B is blinking you can jump through her. The fire barrels in Oil Drum Alley only kills you if you are standing on the middle of the barrel. Jumping through or standing on the edge won't kill you.
