  • @jeremyellismusic I see there is a spare Maschine in the background there. You KNOW you wanna give me one, right? :D

  • @MythicEpitaph @cordovastyle3 Next tip of the day: Maschine will not work correctly and some pads may be damaged if the foam of a delicious beer is spilled all over the pads. Lesson well learned. NI kindly hooked me with another.

  • Thanks for your tutorials. This one is a prime motivator for me when I get lazy. It shows how simple it is to get a few moments of practice in, granted I have to work on the discipline for it when I get in from work & class. I'm a fan of your keyboard playing as well, would you by chance be able to point me in the right direction for self-study resources? Thanks...Peace & Blessings.

  • @rOOk3mk You are welcome and thanks for watching. You totally get the point! I always use youtube to learn just about anything these days:)

  • Hey Jeremy do you use Maschine soley for production? I am getting back into production and I usually use reason but Maschine looks so appealing. I want to use both but it may not make the most sense.

  • @KozmotheKid I have used mostly Reason over the past 5 years, as it's where I put all my old MPC samples. That is to say that I started on the MPC for production, moved along Reason, and have been blending Maschine into the mix. I use Reason and Maschine together all the time, with Maschine in midi-controller mode. Maschine is an excellent midi controller, on top of everything else!

  • It is annoying that the maschine preset drums are not mapped for finger drumming :(

  • Hey i see that you have an akai MPD 26, how is it to work with. And is it better than KORG Padkontrol??

  • thx for all you done, now you are my ispiration.one quest: if you used an mpc500 had you feel the buttons really hard to play with any fingers? i have to push one at time.(sorry my english). i wait answer cause i try to play but is not easy and if i knew this i didn't buy it! peace

  • can someone give me some tips on how to practice this? even this simple lesson is quite hard on me, thou i can easily do both parts sparately, the kick/hat groove escapes my coordination.

  • Drop it like it'S haaawt

  • @jeremyellismusic did you pull it apart and clean it with alcohol? i I had to do similar on one of mine but it was having issues from dirt inside the unit. it's a bit different then the triggers on an mpc (clean those often) but still not hard to handle. (I'm guessing you've tried all this though lol)

  • ouch my brain does not want to do that

  • @jeremyellismusic Now my only question is why would you (really I) buy a controller for that much. I really want Maschine but I hated myself for selling my mpc for Reason. I wasn't good at mixing my mpc beats so I figured make the beats in the "box." Now I have the sound and not the feel. It was a good thing but musically things became different. But I have issues with not using everything together. So I have to add Maschine in. Maybe the Mikro version. I wanna go live like you!

  • I love your music! you are very talented!
