Dedicated to the late G.G. Alin, Mike even asks for a moment of silence, and Jim kept playing, so he told Jim to have silence for a second lol...

Performed live at the Phoenix festival on July 17, 1993.. this show doesn't look like this on the DVD, I don't know why it looks so pixelated, but it sounds really good, and will just upload abit more, and see if it gets any better...

  • I thought the same GG Alin thing was said at the Rock in Rio concert as well?

    I could be mistaken though..

  • I think GG Alin died actually a couple weeks before this concert also, and it wasn't on a toilet bowl though, from what I read.. I thought he was serious, but seems he was bullshitting.. lol

  • No,during the concert at Rock in Rio 2,Mike dedicated the " crab song" to Pele and he didn't metion G G Alin.By the way who is G G Alin? Cheers from a brazilian keyboardist and Faith no more fan!

  • G.G. Alin was a punk singer, FNM did a cover song of his called "I Wanna Fuck Myself".

  • absolutely true BickleBungle, however as relationships go you just never know where the fuck you are, love and hate truly is a thin line... This version of Crab Song is fucking amazing, just perfect. Thank You to the uploader for making somebody else's day. To Your Health Tavarish!

  • Geez, I'm a huge Patton fan and I'm very aware of his sarcasm, dark sense of humor, irreverent behavior, his intent to piss people off, and just know the weird and crazy guy he is, but he was such an @ss to Jim. He treated him badly in his last show, made fun of him, and forgot the reason he was even in FNM in the first place, was because of Jim. I wonder what would happen if Jim wasn't so nice and decided to beat the shit out of Patton. Ha ha. But, Patton still rules!

  • the version from rock in rio 2 is the best u will ever hear

  • @TheBomber15

    PATTON IS AN IDIOT .. i agree

    roddy kept playn too but he dont say nothing

    caffeine addicted.. :-)

  • from video footage of what i have seen of faith no more :to me it looked like jim was a really nice guy and mike patton is a bit of a tit to be honest with you..... i like him as a singer (still prefer chucks punky shouty out of tune singing) but yeah he seemed to be of a mardy arse being a bit of a dick and always needing to be centre of attention(maybe thats just a frontman thing) i'm certainly no expert it is just my two pennith from footage i have seen recording some of their work!

  • One would think you would be grateful for being given a chance from that person you are trying to piss off. But hey that is Mike. Sometimes he finds it fun to piss off the crowd that is totally diggin his shit.

    @johnlaughnfaggapples

  • Big Jim was great@MetalGrl

  • Jim was the shit. Still is . I am sure he still picks up his axe every now and then on the farm. @Politicianssuckass

  • I think that was part of the problem with why Jim became distant from the band. Damn I miss those days. @oclarke31
