Drums of India : The cultural diversity of India accounts for an incomparable richness of music and percussion instruments in India. Music plays an important role and provides the best medium to express their feelings and emotions.
We have tried to portray a picture of the numerous drums of India by bringing them together and by creating an Aura of sound combining intricate rhythms with all the sounds of the drums reverberating and complimenting each other. Very similar to the culturally diverse Indians complement each other and co-exist with their staggering multiplicity of races, linguistic, religious and ethnic groups differences.
As the name suggests The Drums Of India includes percussion instruments from all 4 corners of India, namely,
Tabla, Dholak and Nagara from North India Mridangam, Tavil and Chenda, from South India Dhak, Khol and Pung from Eastern Part of India Duff Drum, Ghatam and Gujrati Dhol from Western Side.
