baby sulcata tortoises and baby turtles

Baby Sulcata tortoises in a temporary tank. Also baby red ear sliders, red belly; cumberland turtles in a tank with an over head dry area for basking. The dry area was built using .25" acrylic purchased at Lowes. Several days were spent studying existing turtle tanks before I designed my turtle tank.

How do you know if its a male and female? I was told you cant tell for a long time.

@Courttknee888 We gave up trying to figure that out. Some sites say it depends on how the bottom of their shell looks. (flat vs concave) Others talk about the width of the area were the tail exits the shell. The place that sold one of the tortoises said it was a female. For all we know, we ended up with two males.

@caesaryanez is this pond gonna be filled with water? as tortoises cant swim in fact they sink.

@MrImGerman the video shows the turtles in a 50 gallon tank. However the turtles are now out side in a temporary 100 gallon tank before they are introduced to a 10,000 to 11,000 gallon koi pond. The pond will be completed late Jan to early Feb 2012

@WMRProduction As for the substrate, they are now on a bed of river rocks 20' x 15' with a water section they can walk into ...etc.
