City Year-A Day in the Life

Journey of Action went to San Antonio to highlight City Year, a non-profit that unites young people of all backgrounds for a year of full-time service, giving them the skills and opportunities to change the world. These diverse young leaders help turn around high-need schools and get students back on track to graduation.
In our webisode, we spent a day in the life of San Antonio's corp members. We were truly inspired by their dedication and commitment to transforming the schools in which they serve.

@wanttogotoengland I agree completely. I took a couple of film classes in high school and editing an entire day down to 11 mins is no easy task! I'm also going to apply because finding a teaching job is tough and I really want to get in the classroom. I'll also apply to Teach for America. Thanks Journey of Action for giving me insight into the program that is more than a verbal description of the program!
