Mey Ape Mathro Bhoomiyai - Lalani Somasiri & Amitha Dalugama - Patriotic Sinhala Song (1970s)

This song was aired quite often in the 1970s and 1980s during the morning over the Radio Ceylon's 'Uda Gee' slot.
Lalani Somasiri (wife of Athula) teamed up with Amitha Dalugama (wife of Victor) to perform this patriotic song was written by Sunil Sarath Perera who was once the chairman of Radio Ceylon, I have no idea who composed the music.
Beautiful lyrics and music certainly send a clear message of patriotism.
This is another song to add on to my 'Mathro Bhoomi Wandana' series published over the last few months.
