  • ^glorified highschool stadium

  • 14 losses in 20 games and 9000 attendance avg shouldn't talk.

  • See "timbers army", "DC United fans", "Sons of Ben", "Sounders fans" right here on youtube.

Canadians have never been this passionate about football, all you want to do is "seem" more European than the States, and you use football as a platform to do so. You don't even have a national team that can qualify for the world cup.

Keep it real, and stop pretending to be this fanatic about a sport your country contributes very little to.

(Only 8 players in MLS are Canadian)

  • Here's a clue: Canada is a country. Toronto is a city within Canada. This is knowledge you'll require if you wish to remain on topic. When I speak ill of your team's attendance, I'm not making a statement on football in the United States as a whole.

But speaking to your point about Canadian MLS players...Brennan, Serioux, De Rosario, Gala, Gerba and Attakora...that's 6 Canadians from TFC alone. Are you trying to tell me you can't name 3 in the rest of Major League Soccer? Because I can...

  • alot of the great canadian players play for other countries ...talking about national teams to discredit TFCs stadium is totally effed up.

  • Thumbs up if you think BMO Field should have a capacity of 200,000

  • @FCnewyorkESC Dude, the ONLY reason why the US National team makes the World Cup is because of a) the amount of money put in the program and b) the fact they play in CONCACAF. If they had to qualify in any other region they'd be Canada.

  • TFC is a money making joke. If they wanted to compete, they would. But they merely don't.

  • did tfc made you believe that lie?

  • never been to the playoff in the mls shouldnt talk

  • there are more american players in europe than brazilians in europe, Brian McBride is and always will be a Fulham legend, as will freidel with aston villa. plus many more. America can be compared to other national teams in terms of skill such as, greece, turkey, holland, sweden, czech republic, and i dare even say england. using mountain terminology as a metaphor , the us is near the summit wheras canada is in line buying a lift ticket

  • Lol, you talk as if the US makes a much larger splash on the international scene. With a population as large as the US has, you would expect them to be great at soccer. They're good, but not amazing.

Your other arguments and points are just as weak, 8 players in the MLS are Canadian, the MLS was an all american sport before Toronto FC, relax. And how many US players play OUTSIDE of the US?

Your country contributes very little to the sport as well, stop trying to make it seem otherwise.

  • Dude does your life suck this much, that you have nothing better to do than bitch about TFC? How about you go find yourself a girlfriend and do something with your life instead of spending your time on the computer.
