would you recommend this phone to someone who has the Cliq my self? or perhaps wait for the next best thing, or is this the best right now in your opinion

Its very good the best on the market at the very moment but this year will be a big year for phone releases, in April alone there's going to be some fierce competition. I'd say wait till April and see which phone you like. Personally I love the nexus and its OS I really don't like the HTC sense ui at all. So it's up to personal preference in the end
