Ride along in the flight deck of a Boeing 747-200. This is what you don't get to see when you fly. Hear the roar of the 4 engines of this classic monster.

  • Don't worry about new numbers, we have plenty of runway. Perfect.

  • 12,000th viewer!

  • The main reason for turning off and stowing electronic equipment (and everything else) during takeoff and landing is so folks are at max readiness for emergency procedures. Kind of makes sure everyone's paying attention. Emergencies are not necessarily catastrophic events but still require pax to listen up when crew is giving instructions.

  • are those BOSE quiet compfort headphones on captain adn FO? lol

  • @Psychlist1972 This is an older aircraft which does not use the some of the newer more electronic equipment that can suffer from interference!

  • @hearts76100 look for a lever on the pilot's left (left) side of the cockpit. Turn it, and the nose gear turns

  • Now that's a mans plane!

  • @hearts76100 No its definintely a tiller... you can see his hand on it from 3:06 :).
