@mrjo2thec hmm it looks like you're right. i had a look on wikipedia and apparently it's off their compilation "The Collection". and yeah it is weird, i first heard this as an mp3 that listed PE as the artist.

guess i'll have to re-up this vid at some point to rm the PE album cover. changing the vid description for now.

I don't know who the fuck this is but it isn't public enemy. Chuck D doesn't write stupid ass self defeating lyrics or publish shitty beats like this.

@KurtG85 well, it is public enemy. search around some more, you'll find the whole song. btw you realise this clip is just a loop of the first few seconds. and the lyrics aren't "self-defeating", they express the frustration of young blacks against police racism and general superior attitude.

@KurtG85 that has nothing to do with the song, and Chuck D identified with it enough to cover it. you don't have to be in a gang to feel oppressed by the police, and in fact, that is the reason why some people are pushed to join gangs.
