This is just the opening scene/credits of my upcoming indy movie "The Hunger"

Thanks to Michelle LeGros and Kale Chenier for acting! :)
Recored in the Boulevard Park area, in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada.

Note that around 1:27-1:58 there's some ducks in the background, in case everyone's wondering what the hell that sound is. :P

Another note is that I just figured out how to use colour correction in Final Cut Pro (This is my first movie in FCP, so yeah, lol). Colour changes will be fixed in the final version.

  • It sounded like L4D music and zombies :P great start though.

  • Because it was L4D music and zombies, lol.

  • :O NAZI ZOMBIE! :P just kidding. it was a cool trailer it would of been cooler if at the end the zombie is about to attack then all you hear is the girl screaming and then see blood on the sidewalk

  • The thing about that though is that's a very cliche way to start a movie.

  • Like, I don't expect to see the tank's music lol, but the regular horde music is designed for a large group attacking, of at least 30. So I hope you have a lot of actors.

  • I about 32, so yeah, lol.

  • @UptownHunter Sometimes Cliche's are good :) Nice camera work by the by :)

  • Do I hear left 4 dead music? :P Pills here!

  • beautiful setting and lighting, THIS is actually creepy.

  • Lol. Best opening ever. I loved how "28 days later" it felt.

  • well the truth is it's better than i'd be able to even start a movie, however that doesn't mean it's record breaking nor does it mean by far it's original or amazing. Tho that aside it's a good start i hope it works out for u. man reason i commented is because the hunger is already the name of a vampire movie made back in the 80's starting david bowie. really awesome flick

  • The feeling's mutual.

  • Good music and sound effects.. which is pretty much all from left 4 dead. You should have put the end credits song at the end of your trailer :P. Hmm i feel like shooting some of those common zombies in the head now.

  • what kind of teenaged girl desides to walk threw a empty park at midnight.. thats how ppl get raped lol

  • "the girl"

    She Has A Name !!!!!!!

    lolz JK

  • l4d sounds

  • yeah you most likely right

  • Nice work Lt.!

Ha. I think the ducks added character.

  • Awesome man, those sound effects went well with the dude and the dude was all like, zombie like, yay!! :)

    Gj man keep it up!!!

  • 4 some reason this reminds me of the Day of the Dead movie.

  • Damn, nice job. I have high hopes for the end result. :P

  • It is not a real movie, thus the word 'Indy'=Independent=No revenue.

  • If this is a real movie , then I hope you got credit to use L4D songs.

  • I'm trying to remember a few soundtracks, because there are some on newgrounds that you can download and use that are zombie ambience that are actually pretty good, I was going to use them for some videos of mine but it looks like I'll never get the chance. And keep in mind, the Left 4 Dead music is designed for zombie moments where there are many, or when there are over the top zombies.

  • Well, either way w/e, I found the L4D zombie sounds very good anyways, and I used their music because it was most fitting. I tried making something in Garageband, but overall Valve showed me up :P lol
