What? Religion is the root of the troubles? No, it is territory. Britains Lord Balfour gave the land of Palestine to the Jews saying it was a land without people for a people without land, but it was a lie. Bit by bit the Zionists took the land away from the Palestinians, so that now they have only 22 percent of the original land. This is not the best land but the worst. Still the Israelis are not satisfied. They want all of it. That is the root of the problem.

If the Archbishop have a shave and a haircut, many people - I, for one - might regard him as fundamentally worldly, materialist, unspiritual, shallow, inauthentic and unreflective, for then he would look just like your average banker or businessman. I raise my glass to eccentrics everywhere!

That may well be true, sometimes people will not look beyond appreance. And of course all souls are precious...I think we can agree on that. The KVJ is another matter, but peace to you and God bless you.

Every soul is precious, we ought to realise that our souls are precious, the most valuable possession we have and ensure they are made right with our Maker. A shave and a haircut will not benefit the soul, However if the Bish did take avail himself of a shave and a haircut, people might regard him as less eccentric. Peace 2 U.
