Angel In An Apron b/w Truck Drivers Turn 'Em On, a 1974 release on the Caprice label #2004. Texan singer/songwriter/musician, Durwood Haddock's music career began in the early 1950's and has spanned 6 decades and includes songs recorded by Pop/Country legend Patsy Cline. His recent CD's are I Remember Jenny Lou Carson [2005], Honky Tonk Crazy (And Other Love Songs) [2006], I Done The Boogie Too Long [2008] and Hanks A Lot [2009].
Angel In An Apron was co-written by Gary S. Paxton and Ronald Hellard. Paxton and Kim Fowley produced the 1960 U.S. #1 hit Alley Oop by The Hollywood Argyles on which another Texan, PJ Proby has said he played the triangle.
Great song! I have a couple of Durwood's 70's singles on my channel, and he's a very talented individual.

Thanks for posting! Your note says that it is a 1974, but I have never heard it before. Again, thanks for posting this one from Mr. Haddock
