Our Queensland Healer Buddy dosn't have any cattle to herd, so he keeps his skills alive by herding the kids. We make him carry a toy to keep the nipping to a minimum. He still finds a way to pop a tire from time to time.
you should look up sheep herding on the internet and see if they have any sheep herding classes near where you live. Here in California I saw Jerome Stewart on Dog Whisperer, that's when I had heard of it, and attended classes. My dog loves herding. Just a thought.
