The first Miyazaki film I ever saw (and have seen the most) and still one of my all time favorites. I now own every Ghibli film that Miyazaki directed (which I believe is nine). I can't for him to finish his next one next year. =D

This movie is for younger kids but I think the reason why older people still like this movie is because it's something they can relate their childhood too. I watch this movie still because I loved it as a little kid and I love the animation in the movie and the music. I just wish all the music in the movies now a-days could help the person watching the movie to get more emotional depth from it.

I just LOVE the feature of the bassoon and oboe in this piece! As soon as I hit this scene in the movie, I had to pause and search for this piece! It's a shame Kirsten Dunst has to laugh and talk through it >/

The thing that save all this movies is the music. The set are very interesting, but I think that in fact nothing relevant goings on. Anyway, the animation is simply splendid.

soundtrack is ridiculously good for this movie. I had it stuck in my head for two weeks afterwards. However, no offense, but its not the greatest movie out there.
