Dear 8ifkhan AkA uncle bob, JL's Always upgrade to bigger and better sound QUALITY which makes it NOT become old school and thats why its expensive but not everyone can afford a GOOD system. Pioneer on the other hand gets sold at wal-mart and died years ago and although it may have some bump to it, it doesn't sound near as clear and perfect!

marcus, maybe you're wrong, or maybe i'm wrong, who cares... what matters is that we have our opinions. I personally am into SPL not SQL, but i know what you mean about pioneer, they aren't what they used to be, but these subs are very very good. If you're ever in east london, i'll let you come out for a drive so you can hear them for yourself.

That's funny marcus, but you see, eventually everything becomes old skool one day. The only sub that comes close to these is the JL W7, which is still lower in RMS power and way more expensive. So, if buying Pioneer is Oldskool, well then, wrap me up in tweed and call me uncle Bob!
