Ongoing cabin project. The roof was custom cut by Mueller and came with all the screws, gaskets, and transitions necessary for the job. I hope to get more work done as the temperature becomes more tolerable in the fall.

  • will you have an update soon?

  • Hi, I am hoping to get one up in the next couple of weeks.

  • looks a lot like a modified version of a cabin sized building offered by Home Depot. I thought about buying their plans and building from it. I like the metal roofing that you chose. Is it an "off the grid" cabin? What is the square footage? I'm really interested in doing something similar.

    Thanks

  • Thanks. Yes it's similar in size to the Home Depot cabin. 16 x 20 is common due to conservation of materials. It is off the grid and I plan on upgrading the solar power to a system with more reserve power soon. It is 640 sq. ft. I hope to post an update soon. Good luck with your cabin project.

  • Take me home, country roads, to the place I belong. Love that song! ;)

  • Thanks. I drafted the plans myself.

  • Thats a really nice looking cabin. Did you make the plans yourself or did you buy them?
