PSPTube How to Setup and Use Jan-Feb 2008 *READ ABOUT VIDEO*

**READ THIS BEFORE POSTING**

This is a guide to help those with CUSTOM FIRMWARE use PSPTube. You MUST have CUSTOM FIRMWARE 3.71m33 or above (working on 3.90 m33).

If you get the "Game could not be started" error then you do not have custom firmware most likely. If you DO have it then change your kernel to the 3.xx kernel.

To check your firmware, on the XMB goto the far left to "Settings". Then go down to "System Settings". Goto the bottom and find "System Information". If you do not see anything after 3.xx (m33 in this case) then you do NOT have custom firmware.

If you do have custom firmware but it is below 3.71 you may have to upgrade. In order to do this, find help on the link provided below.

This WILL work on PSP Phat or Slim/Lite that is uploaded with custom firmware. If you do not have custom firmware find another video to help you or check out http://www.pspiso.com for some help.

Also I did not mention how to edit the configuration file found within. The file for configuration is within the PSPTube folder. It is "config.js". Right-Click and hit edit. The editing process is pretty simple and the video out options are on the bottom. If anyone still has problems let me know. I will try to help or point you to the right direction.

BASIC CONTROLS:
Circle: Search Function
Triangle: Menu (Save, Rename, Delete, etc.)
Square: List (Full, Side, None)
X: Confirm action
Select: Change Search or List

VIDEO CONTROLS:
Triangle: Hide Timer (if in list pulls up menu)
Square: List (same as above)
Circle: Stop Video
X: Nothing?
Select: Change Video Zoom (no zoom available)
Start: Pause
Right D-Pad: Fast Forward x2
Left D-Pad: Slow x.05
