  • Williams and Sowell 2012 !

  • Global warming, if it is in fact happening, is not manmade. It can not be affected by man. It is good to not pollute and recycle. This Cap and Trade is pushed by Wall Street, they want to bundle and package derivatives based on carbon credits.

  • According to the hacked e-mails from the University of East Anglia's Climatic Research Unit an interesting fact came to light. We have been in global cooling since 2000. The cycle goes up and down every 30 to 40 years. It is speculated to be related to sun spot activity which influences cloud formation. I am all for recycling and I hate gross pollution, but man has has nothing to do with the rise and fall of global average temperatures, in spite of the propaganda.

  • This is fucking retarded. Argument by analogy doesn't work in science.

It's a fact that the amount of CO2 has increased by about 40% from 280 ppm to 380 ppm. It's a fact that this CO2 increase is due to human activity. It's a fact that this CO2 causes a greenhouse effect which is precisely measured by satellites in orbit.

And yes, we can affect hurricanes easily by nuking them.

    Stick to talking about economics...

  • Walter E. Williams rules. I take it even further- visit thesaneparty d com or my channel for recent radio interviews!

  • @MsZeitgeist85 - and, um, the last glacial period didn't end millions of years ago. It ended 11,000 years ago.

  • @MsZeitgeist85 - I didn't say thousands of years. I said a few hundred. As in, 400-500 years. That's about how long it took for northern Illinois to go from being under 500 feet of ice to a temperate grassland.

  • @TruckerRedbeard 1000s of years is not quick. We know that there will not be another Ice Age for about 30 thousand years. His argument on the Snowball Earth period is laughable stupid. Watch Debunking Moncton Pt 2

    Walter Williams is clueless.

  • @MsZeitgeist85 - Read further, and you'll find that the ice ages came and went rather quickly, maybe a few hundred years for full transition from warm and moist to full-on ice age, and vice versa at the end of the last glacial period). And mankind was, IIRC, still using stone-tipped spears to kill dinner.

  • It was 756 million years ago not 1 million and it was because the sun was far less active than today.

This is what happens when a arrogant opinionated blowhard like Walter Williams comments on something he has no training in.

  • Man kind has the nuclear power to cause major catastrophe to the atmospheric ozone layer, crippling the oxygen condenser of this planet. There's enough nuclear power in are hands right now to cause hundreds of global warming back to back. There's a cause and effect law of the universe that includes mankind. Some of us tend not to believe that we have all ready cause major changes in are ecosystem by clear cutting are forests, destroying animals , and interfering with carbon dioxide emissions.

  • The damn explosion of the volcano Krakatoa threw more pollutants into the air than mankind could ever do.
