  • Hello there, so what was the outcome of this here project? Noticed you had'nt have a new post, and wondered the end result?

  • Hello!

The 7 plate PDC worked very well for it's size, but I've put dry cells based on switch plate covers on hold for the moment. They are great for small requirements, but not for higher such as 2.5 LPM plus.

I'm working on a new design right now with some wholesale SS plates and will definitely post something new when I have some results.

  • My cleansing bubbler design works well as long as there is a good airflow over it to keep the condenser working. I also pack a fine screen door mesh into the top of the reservoir to keep any foam from escaping and to reclaim some of the KOH at that point.

  • Nice. Why not put more water in the res. to use it as a bubbler and to dry the hho.

  • In my experience, this still doesn't remove KOH from the water vapours. Even the glass of water I used in the video only removes a small amount, you can still see the vapors above the glass.

I use a cleansing bubbler on my truck, this is a foot high piece of 3" PVC pipe with the input hose coiled down the walls to the bottom of the pipe, from there, the HHO exits into distilled white vinegar. The coil condenses the water vapor back to water and the vinegar neutralizes the KOH.

  • nice little setup - I look forward to seeing more vids.

    Keep up the good work.

    :)

  • Thanks :)

  • yeah, KOH gassifies at a pretty low temp ... think as little as 140F of so ... I go to some extremes to get this back into the solution that might not work well in an automotive application ... I use a double primary bubbler/reservoir then a secondary bubbler ... lot of gear with a good bit of size to it I fear ...

  • I see you added more bolts ..nice little cell..Keep up the good work man

  • Thank you. Thats sound like it works perfect.
