Christmas Day Swim 2010 Cavan Ireland

Cavan Icebreakers Celebrate their 43rd Annual Christmas Morning Swim held this year at Annagh Lake, Butlersbridge, Cavan. The Ice thickness was measured at 8" and the swimmers were advised to only spend a short time in the water. The Civil Defence and the Gardai were on hand in the event of any swimmer experiencing any difficulties. The air Temperature was measured at -13 and the water was -1C.
