well. I believe you have a decent Idea. But it would take a lot more than 80 million a month to get rid of this poverty. What I would suggest is to cut out the money for wars and instead invest them into solving these issues. But I guess thats highly irrealistic.

I don't get it!! Is he saying to given a dollar EXTRA or Hasn't he ever heard of taxes? How does he think the politicians are getting paid now?

I can see his point about conflicts of interest however, we don't want to pay politicians to be career politicians. In other words if you're making your livelihood in politics, your incentives to get elected would be largely selfish to feed your family.
