  • House was underground! Miss the 90s!

  • @dwynnell - Thats great man. Thanks for leaving your comments. Yes we are all getting old. I wonder if where are - Mood 2 Swing these days? Anybody know if they are still making music together?

  • @redjam40 feel kinda old giving you thumbs on this one but what the hell!

  • @redjam40 yessirrrr! U couldn't be any more correct. I find that to be the case in most other genres (Hip-Hop, R&B, Rock, etc.). Maybe we're gettin a lil' old...LoL

  • @Getmoneygetmoney09 - The early to Mid 1990's Garage and House in my opinion will never be bettered. And there were so many good producers as well that seemed to come from the Dancefloor. It seems as if they wre originally they were clubbers and then decided to try their hands at Dance music. In my opinion thats why the music of House and Garage from that period sounds much better then todays House styles. But that's just my opinion.

  • @redjam40 They were so Underrated, but they were so UNDERGROUND!! That's where the real, raw talent is found!! Long live REAL HOUSE MUSIC!!

  • @sastal Their money came from EU gigs. It was very interesting, as the scene in Chi-town was centered around techno (yes, the birthplace of deep). I eventually quit as a DJ as I could not conceive of making a living in such a small house culture.

  • I was in NYC when this was out. I still have two copies of it. Many have to understand just how underground this was in the USA, if one considers the industry. I used to hang out with Derrick Carter and Ralphi Rosario at a record store in Chicago called Gramaphone, on Clark.
