This is tribute to the great actor whose works were overshadowed by the scandal which turned Lionel Atwill into some sort of notorious figure and ruined his life&career. Unfortunately, he is remembered today only as the one-armed policeman from "Son of Frankenstein"(1939).

I discovered Lionel Atwill last year and immediately became his fan : I like his irony, the way of speaking, those little tricks he used for creating his characters... Sadly he ruined his career with his own hands...
