A Fine Mess

This one features the Doepfer and DSI Evolver as usual, and also includes a handful of soft synths and the ShortCircuit2 sampler. The doepfer is providing the filter sweep bass. The patch is relatively simple, but includes a bit of audio frequency modulating the filter which gives the patch a nice warm sound. The evolver is playing the sliding bass part and hollow bass during the chorus. The ARP string synth and Wurlitzer EP samples are courtesy of Hollow Sun (www.hollowsun.com).

The tune is a bit of a cheery poppy one. To accompany it I edited together some public domain video footage about the production of audio for film care of the internet archive. For more visit isotopeofme.com
