oakland's gun buyback has been a failure. when those guns left houses the gun crimes jumped up more than a 100 for the following month. I'm for gun buybacks and have a concealed carry, but the proff is in the puddin. criminals love an unarmed america.

I am sure glad that old man turned in that .22. I feel so much safer now.
This is just insanity. The criminals are not turning in guns, they would just sell it on the street for more $ with less hastle. Even if it is no questions asked do you really think someone on probation or wanted is going to risk it, even if they did want to turn in a gun?

That's ridiculous on so many levels.
Who would sale a $400 gun for $50?
Citizens are just giving away their right to defend themself.
Im sure all the criminals of the city came here to sale their guns so now there is no more crimes in the city.
Good job police, now the criminals are still armed and the good citizens gave away their guns.

do people really think this is going to work LOL!

I think I'll have my own gun buy back. I could sell each gun for at least 4 times as much, so the guns I don't decide to keep, I can sell for profit.
-
the media and the police making citizens defenseless as usual.

Buy 100 mosins at $79.95
Get $200 gift card for each
Profit!

Looks like a bunch old .22s, crap pistols and shotguns. None of those are worth "6 to 12 thousand dollars". The gift card might even be a bargain.
The ultra biased line from the "reporters" where they use the typical B.S. "win-win for families blah blah guns off the street blah blah"
...wasn't NEARLY as bad as that black guy (allegedly Christian minister?) at 1:24 who ADMITTED that "we see every gun that's possibly out there...a...as...no not the ones that law enforcement has" WOW! He admits that he sees EVERY citizen owned gun as a criminal gun and/or a dangerous gun. Rare honestly from these scum (funny how he panics).
