Pikmin 2 glitch [2nd glitch I've encountered]

Ok, so, uh, this is what I did. I went into the Hole of Heroes and when I reached this floor, the first things I did were defeat the cannon beetles and trigger all the of the boulders to fall before battling the Ranging bloister. After I defeated him, his eyes were still glowing red as he was dying and before he disappeared. That's how this happened. However, I think the game just becomes glitched up if you continue without saving for extended periods of time. 'Cause after I went deeper, I chose to continue without saving. [Not shown in the video.] Before I reached this level, I was battling the snagrets on [I forgot the number of level] an earlier level in the hole and it sounded like one of my pikmin got pushed through the floor and into the abyss. The pikmin let out the "Ahhhhh!" sound. However, turns out, after the battle, it was just a sound glitch. The wrong sound effect was called at the wrong time. All 100 of my pikmin were there. So, I guess this game becomes insanely glitched if you don't save for extended periods of time.
