http://rc-creator.jimdo.com/fpv/ RC-Creator HobbyKing Video Transmitter Review

Compatible with most 2.4Ghz video receiver systems this FPV camera and transmitter system is very versatile as well as light and very small.
The camera uses a quality glass lensed SONY CCD camera system.

Unlike other generic systems, we have produced a wiring loom and included it with the camera so that the Tx and camera will be compatible and on the same voltage.
If you buy your camera and Tx seperately the plug polarity and voltages may be very different.
Included.
1 x SONY CCD 1/3inch Camera
1 x Voltage Regulator (input 3S battery)
1 x Micro Light Weight Video Transmitter (100mW)

Camera spec.

FPV Tx Spec.
Power: 100mW
Voltage Regulator: 3S (11.1 to 5v)
Without voltage regulator: 2~6V
Weight: 8g
Channels: 4

Usage: 1 3S lipoly will power the camera and via the voltage regulator it will power the Tx on 5v. You will need a 2.4Ghz video receiving unit to receive the image. We do not include the 2.4Ghz Rx unit because there are many different types and styles available and bundling them together will not suit most customers.

  • can you do 1 km with it?

  • @shebotnov depending on the receiving Antenna you could. 14dBi Patch should work.

  • @shebotnov When using a patch receiving antenna

  • It is good for ParkFlyers but not for long range FPV! -It does come with everything you need exept the Lipo and the Receiver.

  • Not sure where to ask this question so hopefully someone here can help. I purchased a 900mhz plug and play package with a fpvcam480. I attached seperate 11.1 2200ma batteries to the transmitter and receiver. I've got leds on both units. I'm on channel 1 on both units and the cam voltage switch is correct. I get a mostly green screen with static sounds that change with transmitter movement, but no picture. I've tried different tvs and channel selections. Any ideas?

  • @123flippany

maybe you want to try a different antanna, than switch through all eight channels available and check if any wire is damaged.

    Voltage should be okay

  • This is not a review? I can see you panning around the wires showing that they plug into each other, but not a word about range, image quality, price.

  • @bigben34x How do you power the RX? Does it include a cable with american prongs? How would I plug a lipo up to it? Would i have to solder a male AC connector on to a battery?

  • @123flippany Green screen seems to me bad video wiring, check all wires again and pay extra attention to the video wires.

  • is this good?? does it come with everything?

  • is this product anygood?? im interested and how high and or far can it go?? i plan to use the micro coaxil chinook or the larger one thanks...
