been thinking for a long time of getting one of these strange instruments. Defintely since P.J. Harvey's "Let England shake" album, on which she makes abundant use of the atoharp. But your video is definitely another BIG incentive. Being a nonguitarist, it would be so sweet, to be able to get some processed sound like these.

you have a really great voice

That's amazing! Great song to pick too, one of my favorites! I wonder how House of the Rising Sun would sound? Thanks for showing that autoharps can rock too!

Very cool, my friend. I love it.

This is awesome! I would love to get some equipment for my autoharp when I play out with it. Yes, I play out with it! LOL! I am brand new to this sort of thing. The things you listed, are they all separate? Thanks! Any suggestions would be welcome!

Fantastic! Your pedal board is gettin' it done! What specific distortion, tremolo and reverb pedals are you using? Great stuff! Thanks for posting.

Awesome. I'm an electric autoharp player...all kinds of stuff on my channel. Beatles, Grateful Dead, Mark Knopfler... good stuff, Will, keep it up.

wow, thats i got say when i heard that distortion pedal go on , i couldn't believe it was an autoharp, that gives me an idea , though german zithers
I used an Ibanez tube screamer for distortion, for reverb I was using an old 'Premier' reverb tank, and the tremelo I was using is built in to my 1950's Magnatone 'Troubador' amp. Those amps are my favorite, they have the sweetest warm sound, and great tremelo : )
thanks for listening,
-Will

I was using a distortion pedal, tremelo, and an old school reverb tank but any reverb pedal should work fine
